Sup getting shit on.

I'm on 2,500 hand streak where I'm getting shit on to a minor degree. I'm getting 3-bet like 25% of the time I raise, I've had KK vs AA 3 times every single one of them was 150bbs deep, I lost with AA 150bbs deep. I'm bricking every single flop and getting floated a shitload and then they call a second barrel on the turn after they hit one of their float cards, and then when I give up they take the showdown and show me 87o after a flop of of QQx and their pair of 8s is good vs my AJ.

Even when I am winning hands I'm running kind of terrible as the board is coming one action killer after another. Say, I have AA and get a caller preflop and the flop is Qd Jc 8d. They call a bet on the flop. The turn is always the Jd and then the river always puts a 4 straight on the board so I can't get any value at all.

It could be worse, I'm thankful that I have at least made a couple suckouts of my own, in all of the 80bb sized final pots...

I'm done 7 days of tallying together 200 points, only 18 days more to go before I can get one of those awesome iron chip things next to my name.

Sunday recap

Fuck Omaha 8. I basically just sat around donating blinds to the tables because every hand I was dealt was a complete piece of fucking shit and I scooped one big pot in about 400 hands or so. Fucking game ruined my profit for the day.

So early in the day I was trying to Sat into the FTOPS #10 by playing $5 2 table shootouts. I ran like ass and the players are easily less intelligent than monkeys with down syndrome, but hey it's cool. At the same time I was ran 4 SnGs. I won 3 and took 3rd in the other due to some not so great luck.

Then I played the Stars 200,000 guar, where it's the only tournament ever where you just try and cash because it's payout scale is 271-4780 get $30 and 270 is the next increment. I cashed but didn't see any cards. Next was the Deuce Deuce on FTP. I built up a big stack early by playing really tight with big pocket pairs to my first table which was the loosest ever. At my second table I ran up my stack to 18k with crafty awesome play. I got no cards and then the blinds when from nothing to gigantic about 2 1/2 hours into it, and the tight player next on my left ended up either catching cards or making 3 plays in a row before I shoved K9o into his AQ. Whatever.

And I also had that shitty ass run in O8 and coughed up an assload of money waiting for good hands, and when I had good hands I was either drawn out on for a split or I completely whiffed my huge draws. It was stupid. Poker's stupid.

Then I played 1/2 HU limit, and two guys cardracked me and then I played a guy who never ever ever raised but called a bet if he had any reason at all, A high, K high, bottom pair, a gutshot. Easy money, right? It was for the first 15 minutes when I took about 60 off him right away. But then I started missing every single huge draw and his King high would blow my doors off, or I would be betting top pair and then a K would come and he would flip over AK or show up on the river with pocket Aces without ever raising. There was one hand where the flop was KK8 and I had A8, I bet and he called. He checked to me again on the turn, and figured it was safe to check behind. The river was a T and he checks again, I bet A8 for value and he calls with T6. Boosh in my face. He showed me more completed 5 out draws than I showed him completed 15 out draws, and it felt like we had the same amount of each. He ran super hot, but luckily he never raises so I would end up betting top pair down for value, and he would just call after hitting his 8 high flush on the river and stuff like that.

I think we ended up playing about 300 hands and I took about 50 off of him and he lost 70 total, so we basically got our balls raked off, but at least I got my 200 points for iron man.

So I think the profit break down looks like this

7 x 5.50 sats = - 38.50
4 $10sngs = +109.00
Stars MTT = + 19.00
FTP MTT = - 22.00
9max O8 = - 41.50
HU LHE = - 9.50
________________________

Profit = +16.50
Est rakeback = +12.00
Grand total = +28.50

Tournaments are gay.

under EV, and gonna play some BORENAMENT SNORENAMENT TOURNEMENT POKER.

I took like 6 brutal fucking beats yesterday, and missed 2 flush draws in all-in spots to bring my EV from 200 over what I've won to about 20 under what I've won. I still managed to win 200+ in 1500 hands yesterday though. I'm going to think about moving up to .50/1.00 soon or at least mixing one or two up in my window of 6.

Going to play some FTOPS satties and some tourneys today, and make sure I get my 200 FTPs to keep up my quest for Iron Man status

Fucked up run.

After running like a golden god for about 10k hands, I hit the wall pretty hard starting with a mashup of 1/2 and 2/4 LHE yesterday when I hit exactly 0 top pairs in 1300 hands and what felt like every single mpgk I hit was crushed to an opponent's top pair. And for the first 500 hands of NLHE today I also ran like super shit and it obviously affected my play as I was either firing dry bluffs without warrant into bad players or giving up on bluffs into thinking players when scare cards came. In essence everything I did worked against me. I'm actually shocked that HEM has me running ahead of EV for the day, as I must have lost 10 more all-in pots than I won I guess it's because I won two substantial pots but lost all the ~$20 pots. But anyways, here's the most fun hand I've played in a while vs one of the worst players I've ever seen.

ISN'T POKER AWESOME.

Nickw1979: put this hand in your blog hand

And I shall, after I apologize. I reread my post about the hand I was involved in with you and I came off as an arrogant dick, obviously because I am, but I didn't mean to pick on you personally and accuse your family of not loving you. Haha with that out of the way, time to share the hand because the guy deserves a free look after I acted like a jackass for no reason and he came across it.

Nickw1979 runs a 16/11/2.2 2.8 game

SHIPPOPOTAMUS checks

The flop doesn't hit his range very hard at all. AQ, KQ, QJ are probably his only top pair hands. He's aggressive enough to know when to bet when in position so I opted for the C/R.

*** TURN *** [7s 9c Qs] [3s]

The turn is interesting card to use to turn my hand into a bluff. If he looked me up on the flop with a naked pair of 9s JJ, TT, 88, 66-22 there's probably no way he's going to continue on with his hand and he might even dump QJ here.

The spade could have scared him off of raising 99, 77, AQ, or he just hit his combo draw. I do not think T8 is even in his range preflop, JT might be but I don't think he continues with it on the turn after the spade unless of course he has a spade.

When a guy bets the river big who you've never seen bluffing, you fold quickly... as soon as you hollywood the timer for a couple moments.

I think his most likely hand is AQ. Followed by one of those combo spade draws. Followed by a set. If he threw out that 20 with JT, kudos.
